Human-Centered Design

Drive change and innovation
by putting the user first

Enable rapid iteration of challenges to produce user-driven solutions.

Have you ever wondered why an app felt clunky or cumbersome to use even though it seemed to have the features you needed? Have you repeated the same user errors with an app even though you’ve used it many times? Have you spent months learning to use an app only to forget how to use many of the features? These are all examples of poor Human-Centered Design (HCD) and its impact on user performance. HCD is a proven and viable approach that emphasizes optimizing technology for humans, rather than relying on them to effectively adapt to and employ the technology.

We anchor our HCD approach to our Solution Design Framework, which we apply to all work we do. This integrated set of methodologies, tools, and techniques enables effective and iterative collaboration with key stakeholders across our customers’ environments to clearly define the set of challenges and the “definition of done” for all outcomes.
