Aleut Logo

Colorado Springs, Colo. Aleut Logistics Services, LLC (Aleut) announced today that it has been awarded a U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) for Facilities Maintenance and Repair (SIN 561210FAC). The contract, number 47QSHA21D002M, has a potential duration of up to 20 years – including one, five-year base period and three, five-year options.

The GSA Multiple Award Schedule (also known as the Federal Supply Schedule) is a long-term governmentwide contract with commercial firms who, in exchange for inclusion as a contract holder, agree to provide products and services to Federal customers at volume discount pricing.

Aleut is a Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a) and Small Disadvantaged Business based in Chantilly, Virginia, that provides professional support services focusing on complete operations, maintenance, and repair of federal real property. From stand-alone facilities such as hospitals to larger, multi-facility complexes such as Department of Defense (DoD) military installations, Aleut can provide personnel recruitment and staffing, as well as technical support, including electrical, HVAC, elevator, plumbing, fire alarm/fire suppression, and more.

In 2020, as part of an effort to modernize and simplify the acquisition process for customers and suppliers alike, the GSA consolidated 24 existing schedules into a single, streamlined schedule subsequently divided into categories, sub-categories, and Special Item Numbers (SIN). The MAS program will allow Aleut direct access to opportunities not otherwise available on the open market.

In pursuit of the contract, Aleut underwent rigorous validation with GSA officials to verify compliance and ensure pricing for services and products adheres to agency terms and conditions. GSA has approved Aleut to participate as a prime contractor for awards in Special Item Numbers 561210FAC—Facilities Maintenance and Repair.

“We are thrilled to offer Federal customers the savings, flexibility, and transparency the MAS program allows,” said Aleut’s Vice President of Infrastructure Services, Stephen Watkins. “The MAS award provides agencies another contract vehicle with which to access Aleut’s services,” he continued. “We are proud to see our commitment to customer satisfaction and prior successes recognized.”

Aleut Logistics Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aleut Federal, LLC, a holding company for Federal subsidiaries of The Aleut Corporation (TAC). For more information about the Aleut GSA MAS schedule, visit the GSA eLibrary or contact Aleut directly at infrastructure.info@aleutfederal.com.
