Chantilly, VA – Aleut Federal, LLC has launched a new site to accompany the enterprises’ reimagined brand. The site makes it easy for both Federal and commercial customers to learn more about the organization’s multi-faceted and highly integrated approach in support of its clients’ most critical missions.
The site is developed and supported by Virginia-based NG Media, showcasing the dynamic and evolving structure of the Alaska Native owned enterprise, offering practical information and capabilities for Aleut Federal and its subsidiaries.
Along with their new website, the company also announced the launch of their new brand, centered around the Aleutian ideal of “Ataqan Akun,” which translates to, “We Are One.” President Martin Hanofee said, “’We Are One’ extends beyond a tagline, it’s a mission statement. We view every interaction through four lenses: our customers, our shareholders, our communities, and our people. Any decision we make is in the interest of uplifting these groups. The success of one is directly dependent on the success of the other.”
Aleut Federal and its subsidiaries employ exceptionally talented and experienced teams that provide a wide range of services, diversified into four main service groups: Technology, Environmental, Infrastructure, and Construction. This organizational infrastructure allows Aleut Federal to deliver the resources and stability of a large corporation with the customer care, agility, and approachability of a small business. “The synergy between service groups, and centralization of administrative and contracting support, means we can leverage the collective strengths of the enterprise in support of our customers,” Hanofee says.
Aleut Federal, a subsidiary of The Aleut Corporation (TAC), offers a portfolio of subsidiaries that participate in the Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Program. TAC was one of the original 12 Alaska Native Corporations established under the Alaska Native Claims Act (ANCSA), passed by Congress in 1971. In 1971, TAC enrolled 3,249 shareholders. Today, TAC has nearly 4,000 active shareholders. As a TAC subsidiary, Aleut Federal embraces the Aleut culture and supports the shareholders through our ongoing operations in 31 states and two U.S. territories, employing more that 700 individuals worldwide.
