David Courtney has more than 28 years of Defense experience, both in and out of uniform, supporting a varied array of customers in the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, and United Nations. He has experience in the areas of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP), Training, Explosive Detection Canines, Law Enforcement, and Environmental Remediation.
David, a United States Army EOD veteran, most recently served as Director of Operations at Janus Global Operations where he lead Programs in Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Jordan, Libya, Guam, and the U.S. David is a Certified Project Trainer through the Institute of Project Management and teaches Project Management for DOL Coach part-time.
Here at Aleut, David leads AAR. Leveraging his leadership and delivery experience, David works directly with clients and teams to focus on providing a client and mission-first approach to all of his clients regardless of size of the project or client.
David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Health & Safety and a Master of Business degree from Columbia Southern University. When David is not working with his teams or clients, he loves working on his farm, riding motorcycles, and spending as much time as possible with his amazing wife, children, and grandson.
