AleutianStar is an established Mentor-Protégé Agreement & Joint Venture (JV) between MetroStar and Aleut Information Technology. This JV is invested in serving the Federal Government and Alaska Native Community with enterprise-level information technology (IT) Infrastructure and communications.

Aleut is a subsidiary of Aleut Federal, a holding company for federal subsidiaries of The Aleut Corporation (TAC). TAC is one of 13 original Alaska Native Corporations established under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, passed by the U.S. Congress in 1971.
